Video Frame Extractor
Extract still frames from a video every 1, 2, or 5 seconds. Everything runs in the browser, and you can download only the frames you need.
Extracts up to 24 frames at once.
Split a video into useful still frames
The frame extractor moves through your video at a fixed interval and captures still images. It helps you compare thumbnail candidates, scan a recording, or find key moments quickly.
Shorter intervals create more images and take longer to process. For longer videos, start with a wider interval such as 5 seconds, then narrow the range by trying again with a smaller interval.
Extracted frames are temporary browser objects. The video is not uploaded, and clearing the page removes the local preview URLs created for the extracted images.
