Extract still images from a GIF

Use this when you need a thumbnail, reference frame, or design asset from an animated GIF. Frames are exported as PNG images and bundled into one ZIP file.

For long GIFs, extract only the first 30 to 60 frames first. This keeps the ZIP smaller and makes it easier to find the frame you need.

Frame extraction happens on your device. The GIF is not uploaded, so you can inspect private captures or work-in-progress design files locally.

Adjusting the frame count lets you pull only the first part of the GIF instead of the whole thing. If the moment you want is in the middle, extract a generous number of frames and pick the right image from the ZIP.

Exported PNGs work well as video thumbnails, slide assets, or reference images for a design draft. Saving one moment as a still image lets you check the content without reopening the GIF.
