Make text safe for HTML examples
HTML entities are useful when text needs to appear as text instead of being read as markup. Encoding turns characters such as angle brackets, quotes, and ampersands into safe forms that can be pasted into documentation, comments, or code examples.
Decode mode goes the other way when exported content, CMS text, or copied snippets contain entities. Common named entities and numeric entities are converted back to readable characters while unknown names are left untouched.
The tool is intended for text snippets and examples, not for sanitizing untrusted full pages. All conversion runs in the browser, so private notes, template fragments, and support samples are not uploaded.
