2048 Game

2048 is a puzzle game played on a 4×4 grid. You merge tiles with the same number to build a 2048 tile. Use arrow keys or swipe to push every tile in one direction at once, and any pair of matching numbers that meet will combine into a single tile worth twice as much.

Because every tile moves on every input, keeping your largest tile anchored in one corner works well. Lock it into a corner such as top-left or bottom-right, then build a descending row along its side. That way the big number never gets stranded in the middle.

The game ends when no tiles can be merged and no empty cells remain. Leaving open spaces is more important than chasing a big merge, so play the long game. Your best score is saved on your device and continues across visits.
